Student Nurse Program

Ranken Jordan’s Student Nurse Program offers selected nursing students the opportunity to work within Ranken Jordan as a certified nurse assistant. The Student Nurse will perform a variety of patient care activities and have interactions and experiences with many different patients and diagnosis.

Student Nurses should be able to work well as a part of a team. They should be able to look for new, creative ways to contribute to a unique environment and be willing to take care away from the bedside. Student Nurses will learn effective time management and discover an abundance of opportunities to learn and fine tune their nursing skills. The Student Nurse positions are PRN.

Criteria

• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program
• Have successfully completed Fundamentals in Nursing
• Eligible for graduation no earlier than June 2011
• Commit to working full-time for orientation during one of the following two sessions:
  • Session I (June 1-June 18), or
  • Session II (July 5-July 23)
• Able to work 1 shift a week (your choice) after orientation
