As second generation owners of the Kodner Gallery of Fine Art, David and Jonathan Kodner, learned at an early stage in their lives that art brings not only beauty to the world, but therapeutic value as well.

To that end, it was their intention to create the leading regional art therapy program to benefit youth who require special care, and who would gain further or speedier physical and emotional recovery from the therapeutic intervention.

David and Jonathan Kodner chose Ranken Jordan as the beneficiary of their creativity. This multi-faceted program is comprised of many important elements for a medically challenged child's development: muscular (physical) coordination, sensory stimulation, educational appreciation of art and emerging self-esteem expression. The therapy will include working with nationally-known artists.
